Vegan Survey.
1. Favorite non-dairy milk? homemade raw jicama horchata
2. What are the top 3 dishes/recipes you are planning to cook? raw versions of sprouted oat cookie dough, peach cobbler, and halava
3. Topping of choice for popcorn? chili and lime
4. Most disastrous recipe/meal failure? left green beans to steam too long, pot melted as i moved it across my friend’s kitchen, destroyed the room with molten metal. :(
5. Favorite pickled item? red kimchi
6. How do you organize your recipes? i tweet them as i make them up, or ask others to tweet them to me.
7. Compost, trash, or garbage disposal? reuse! <3 mason jars
8. If you were stranded on an island and could only bring 3 foods…what would they be (don’t worry about how you’ll cook them)? burritos, pizza, green smoothies.
9. Fondest food memory from your childhood? the sound and smell of my mom cracking peanut shells and drinking coffee in the morning while reading the newspaper.

i suddenly want to work part time as a story book reader at a children library. how i wish there’s one needing, just around the area where i work. ^^
you should do it, even if you don’t get paid. any experience with children is great and infinitely rewarding, plus you need hella references when you want a decent job working with kids down the line, like teaching.

no posts for a while, too busy running around the bay area living life. I’m about to drive down to L.A. for a week too, so i won’t be posting for a while. Lots of good ideas for themes though, thank you!

thanks for all the support!!! umbrellas went well. i might update the queue one more time with another load, but i’m about ready to move on to a new theme! There are still a lot of good ones on the table from the last few askings, but do you have any suggestions or comments?

I am happy to hear that! i’ve been vegetarian for 15 years now, vegan for the last 8 of those. I was just planning on posting the Ryden/Frank purse because i think its an important part of modern art, but found so much other interesting stuff, that i had to purge it all at once.
The funny thing is that i quickly unfollow a lot of people who post pictures of meat-as-food. Its not something i want to see on my dashboard between the mass of amazing stuff each of you post everyday. I hope this Study makes the distinction between the gross food and thought provoking meat images clearer.

i think they are adjusting the algorithms. I know my tumblarity was very high because i was posting lots of quality pics every 45 minutes of so for a week, and they i skipped a day and went to every 2 hours. Lost 1500 points just like that. No worries though.
